Lately...

I've been watching House M. D. He's made of awesome, I must say. It's rather sad that I realized my love for the series a year or two after I saw my first episode, but, hey, I'm slow. I live with it. And now I have 5 whole seasons to watch! Guess who's been having a marathon. 40 episodes in two and a half weeks! That's a lot, considering my slow-as-hell ass of a computer and the fact that I only have time for it at night.

This last week I've felt closest to American culture since my visit 10 years ago. With my pal we've been cursing the hiatus and the way those damn baseball finals take room from our entertainment. D: Such a bunch of miserable no-lifes.

Both my English listening comprehension and my stock of medical vocabulary have been rapidly increasing, so this must be good for me.

I love the way the series is about a miserable, disabled guy. He's got plenty problems himself, but those he can't solve. Instead, he solves other peoples' problems. That, and I like irony and sarcasm.

Off to watch more.
